FRIENDS --WHO IS REALY THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM
Since my car accident on March 3rd I have begun to question who my real friends are. My friends in Louisiana have raised money and even driven out here to Texas just to see me and help me out, people who have only known me for 5 to 6 months. Whereas my so called friends from right here in Texas not even 20 miles away from where I am living at haven't even had 20 or 30 minutes to just stop by or call and see how I have been doing. I understand that they are married and have kids now but my car accident should have killed me, the doctors gave me a less than 1 percent chance of survival. 2 weeks later I was walking out of the hospital. So the fact that I am still here is truly a miracle. When I die I would like my funeral to be on a friday at about noon, so I can see who my true friends are, because lets face it no one realy wants to take off on a pay day. I would also like for everyone who knew me to say something out loud about me that just sticks out in their memory, good, bad, or ugly. I have 2 people I know I could call at anytime and ask them to be here for me and they would do anythin they had to to get here. One is Justin, he lives in Louisiana, I could call him at 2 in the morning and if I asked him to come here I know he would be right next to me by noon that same day. Not because he is well off and doesn't have to work but because we truly do care and look out for one-another. And the other friend is Michael, he is currently in Iraq fighting, he's a Marine. If I wrote him and said I needed him i know without a doubt he would do whatever he had to to get home and make sure I was alright. And vice versa, if either one of them told me they needed me to be there for them I would drop whatever I was doing and find a way to get there for them, consequenses be damned. It is truly hard to find that kind of friendship, most people don't even have one friend like that, I am fortunate enough to have two.
